Clash of Clans Update Brings New Air Defense Systems, Attack Confirmation

“Clash of Clans” remains one of the hottest mobile games right now, and if its developers continue to release updates as actively as they are doing right now, we will probably keep hearing about the game for quite some time in the future too. For now, the gameplay of “Clash of Clans” has been getting smoother and smoother, while various new subtle features make the experience even more streamlined and straightforward for players who are new to the game.
With the new update, the game now adds extra anti-air defensive capabilities for the players, namely The Air Sweeper. It’s a system that will push back flying enemies in groups, slowing down their attacks and giving the player a chance to regroup their units for a push back. Player have to unlock the unit at Town Hall 6, and even though some have been calling for a similar addition to the game for quite some time, not all players are on board with
enjoying it.
According to some, the new unit shifts the balance in the wrong direction, and it has the potential to make the game less fun overall. It remains to be seen how exactly it’s going to affect the game’s performance though, as these things always take some time to fully play out. It’s entirely possible that the players complaining do have a point, but it’s also possible that they just need to adapt to the changes and that could happen after some time.
In other news, players can now add a clan to their bookmarks so they cancheck it out later, and the feature currently supports up to 30 clans. Additionally, before launching a clan war attack, players now get an extra screen where they can preview their army and confirm the attack. This isn’t the only change to the interface though, as the new update also touches the game in various places, such as its chat, defense ranges and others.
Also, those who have been requesting a name change will finally get a chance to do that – the game now allows players to change their name, up to one time. Other than that, matchmaking has been improved as well, and the game’s developers are actively looking into ways to make it more fair for all players, something that still remains an issue with the game according to some of its fans.
Clash of Clans
All in all though, “Clash of Clans” has been moving forward very successfully, and the game is shaping up to be one of the bestexperiences on the mobile market in a long time. If the current update trend continues, the game has a long potential lifetime.
